Obituary for Larry Eugene Horn

Larry Eugene Harrison-Horn, 53, passed away on May 7, 2020 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Larry was born August 22, 1966 in Kansas City, Kansas to Jethro T. Horn and Rose (Leach) Harrison and is the oldest of the two children born to this union.

He lived most of his life in Kansas City, Kansas, later moving to Kansas City, Missouri. He accepted Christ in his life.

Larry graduated from Central High School in Salina, Kansas in 1984.

Larry was an Air Force and Marine Veteran.

He was employed by Advent Health-Shawnee Mission Hospital at the time of his passing.

Larry enjoyed his life to the fullest. He was also an avid Chief's fan (Go Chiefs). He loved his family and got great joy out of being with his grandchildren. Larry had a zest for life he loved grilling and traveling, especially going on cruises. He also enjoyed going to flee markets and decorating.

Larry was the type of person that never met a stranger.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Leach Harrison; his paternal and maternal grandmothers; his maternal grandfather and a sister-in love Tonya Brice.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories; his children, Larry (Mary) Harrison II, Michael (Angela)Gillom, both of St. Joseph, MO; Isaac Harrison and Joshua (Daveyon) Harrison, both of Kansas City, MO; LaChaneisha Bushnell of Topeka, KS; Kalem Harrison of Kansas City, KS; his father, Jethro T. Horn, of Kansas City, KS; Victoria/Vickie Davis of Burlington, KY; Kimberly/Kim (Kenneth) Odem of Kansas City, MO; Shani Harrison of Grandview, MO; a brother Curtis Horn of Kansas City, KS; his stepmother, Queen Horn of Kanas City, KS; aunts and uncles; his best friend/cousin, Timothy Moore, 16 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
