Obituary for James "John" Sprague

James “John” Sprague, 55, Kansas City, Kansas was born on January 20, 1964 to Mary and James Sprague. He attended Turner High School and Kansas City Kansas Community College. John raised two sons, Zach and Myles McHenry which were the most important things in his life. He worked for Rental City for 25 years where he started as a delivery and repossession man and worked his way up to Assistant Manager. He met some of his closest friends there. John also enjoyed many hobbies including role playing games, darts, bowling, and gaming. He could talk to anyone about anything because of his wide breath of knowledge and his love of learning. John had a sense of humor like no other. He was always quick with a joke or smart ass comment that would have anyone rolling. John was a friend to everyone he met. He was kind, giving, and selfless and would be there for anyone at any time. John is preceded in death by his grandparents, Esther and Floyd Sprague and Evelyn and Pete Lowe; parents James and Mary Sprague; brother Ron Edwards and step sister Dawn Renee.
