Obituary for Gregory Haygood

Gregory Haygood was a native of Kansas City, KS. He was born on December 28, 1957 to Gladys Jeanne Davis and Richard Curtis Haygood. He was educated in the Kansas City, KS school district and graduated from Wyandotte High School. He was also a veteran. He served for the National Guard and the Marine Corps. He was a God fearing man, the epitome of what a man is supposed to be, a father, hard worker, and an amazing friend.
Gregory was the life of the party. He loved to cook, tell jokes, playing dominoes, and he loved his music. Gregory had a heart of gold, he loved everyone. He took anyone in and helped where he could. He was full of life and his smile lit up the room. Anyone who knew him loved him and will miss him, but God loved him most.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Davis and Richard Haygood; grandmother, Pauline Haygood; sister, Donna K. Haygood; brother, Stevie Haygood; and his daughter, Jeren Williams.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: stepmom, Janae Haygood; 3 brothers, Gerry Haygood, Joseph Haygood, and Brian Haygood; 5 sisters, Chantella Watson, Bridgette High, Deborah Hardin, Kimberly Wheeler, and Evralonder Hayslett; children, Courtney Rayburn, Gregory Williams, Aaron haygood, Jerra Williams, Jeris Williams, and Jennifer Teer; a grandchild, Gregory D. Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and friends.
