Obituary for Pearcy L. Freeman

Percy Lee Freeman Sr. was born in Dumas Arkansas on May 29, 1951 to the union of (Late) Lloyd Freeman Sr. and Mary A. Grimms-Freeman. Percy accepted Christ at the age of 9 years old.
Percy L. Freeman attended Douglas Elementary and Sumner High School. During his years in high school, Percy loved playing basketball (Center Position) and wrestling. On the weekends Percy loves to entertain and was known to be the life of the party by joking, playing cards and dominoes. After meeting the love of his life Louella Harris, Percy proposed and married her on January 31, 1997, making her Mrs. Louella Freeman. Percy was an excellent provider, when it came to taking care of his family.
Percy started working for Cook Brothers Insulation Company in 1969, he worked very hard for forty-four years. His starting position was a machinist labor member, at this position Percy made pipe, Styrofoam, and installation for ammonia refrigeration, then three years later Percy was promoted to a supervisor position. Percy took his new promotion very serious, he trained over 1,000 employees throughout the years. He made sure that every employee understood his expectation and the company safety policy. This job gave Percy the opportunity to build pipes for apartments, land fields, and all over the Mid-West, which improved the community’s lives forever.
