Obituary for William Harold Hale

William H. Hale, 97, formerly of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Saturday January 4, 2020, at his home in Mound City, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by wife of 64 years, Dorothy and son Joseph Price. He is survived by his daughter Rosemarie Larsen and son Robert Long, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
As a World War II Veteran, Mr. Hale served with 3rd Division Marine Corps. In Iwo Jima and Guam 1943. He was a life member of VFW and life member of Masonic Lodge 436, of Overland Park, Kansas.
Joined the White Shrine 1984; 1990 Abdallah Shriner's of Kansas; Scottish Right 1964; Eastern Stars #8; American Legion, Mound City, Kansas; Kansas Freemasons, Mound City Lodge #33. in 1941 Mr. Hale joined Carpenters Local #61 transferred to Local #168 after military service. Mr. Hale retired from Commercial Construction in 1989, had worked as Superintendent and project manager in 18 States & Mexico.
