Obituary for Tommie Glen Harris

Tommie Glen Harris was born August 31st, 1948 to Eddie & Rebecca Dixon-Harris in Mobil Alabama both parents, 4 brothers Eddie, Johnny, Joe & Louis and 1 Sister Julia proceeded him in death. Tommie drove trucks for a living, he worked for different trucking companies such as P-I-E, Schneider & Associated Wholesale Groceries where he retired from in 2016; Tommie was affectionally known as “8-Ball” over the airwaves. Tommie lived in Chicago most of his life and later he moved to Kansas City, KS, this is where he remained until his death. Tommie enjoyed traveling, watching CNN and hanging out with his friends shooting the breeze as he called it. Tommie leaves to cherish his memory his wife Justine of the home; six children: Wanda Harris (Eric), Allison Givhan, Pastor Raynard Givhan Sr. (Michelle) all of Kansas City, KS, Yushumic “Meka” Stewart (Patrick), Virgil Young both of Chicago, Illinois; Steve Givhan (Diane) of Batesville, MS; One sister Anna Matthews of Bloomington, IL; 22 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & good friends.
